Getting base area level and square for new greenhouse

March 1, 2013 by dave   Comments (7)

Important to get the base area for greenhouse level and importantly square which the present area is not dead square to the wall of the house and the front edge needs to come up 3/4 inch. When I originally made the flat area I had no plans for having a greenhouse put on there. According to my instructions for erecting it, it is vital that everthing is level and square.

The white cable on the wall is my broadband connection

First half level on the left and the first leveling of base on the right

Foundations in and level.

All level and square not quite finished grouting ( ran out of sand)

Grouting finished all ready for Greenhouse now

Staging built and ready for when it finished

Been a lovely day here today wall to wall sunshine without the heat. We wasted all morning waiting for delivery lorry that should have come between 9 and 10 oclock. Did not arrive till 14.20 apparantly the driver did not turn up. Any way when it arrived it was quite a job for the driver manouvering his way in as quite a narrow entrance with a bend at the end. There were 8 of us there to shift it. Here are a few pics.

The guy on the right is 84 doing well ay!!
