Hi ,   if  you see a woman walking as though she has one foot in the gutter, and the other on the curb-- that would be me !  lol .Thats because I have done far too much today-- done my back in and my hip .I have had such a lovely time, it has been a wonderful day in the garden, and altho I`m knackered ---- well worth it.

Hope you have all been outside too, and not just looking for signs of Spring .

Good gardening to you all

Cheers Lil

Oh Lil - you haven't have you? The curse of the gardener's new season - too much too soon due to enthusiasm and glee at the coming of spring. I got a bit stiff after my antics with my new perennial and herb box earlier in the week. We lose flexibility as we get older don't we? The mind says "yes" the body says "no - not too much"!

Hope it hets better soon!

I can relate!!! I have done that so many times.....but like you I feel that the pain is worth it. No way am I going to sit about for the rest of my life even if gardening does hurt!!!

haha me too. Can't get my right hip to go up the stairs and Gareth couldn't turn over in bed. Got that bloody awful flowering cherry out though along with a dead bit of cotoneaster, a japanese honeysuckle sucker and a virginia creeper. The mat of roots was amazing but I had a lovely time wielding the jemmy.

By the way Mother, it's 'kerb' you div.
