Another Hello from Surrey
« : February 17, 2017, 07:24:26 PM »
A warm hello from myself to you all.
I am returning to vegetable gardening after a break of a few years.
I work as a garden machinery mechanic and have done for more years than I care to recollect, although I trained as an apprentice gardener when I left school, again
more years ago than I want to admit.
I'm hoping to pick brains, and to have mine picked as the want arises!

Regards,

Gwiz.

Hi from Devon, too.

Sounds like you already have some useful experience. This is a good forum where we can speak our minds, not like some forums (should that me 'fora' ) where the thought police interfere with everything. So enjoy your stay with us.

Hi Gwiz - a BIG hello from the west Wales coast! Great to have you on board. You'll be really popular when our strimmers and rotavators break down and we get stuck with our D.I.Y. repairs. You should get on well with Scary Crow - he started off his working life as a mechanic.

I think you'll like it here  ThU5:-)

Thank you for your warm welcome.
Tomorrow afternoon I'm off to see the lettings officer of our local allotments. I used to have a couple of plots on the site, but had to give them up because of time restraints. There is a rumour of either a whole plot or a half, so we will see what comes along.
