Hi from N. Ireland
« : August 14, 2015, 02:49:52 PM »
Just joined today - hoping to pick the brains of all the knowledgeable people here !  Would describe myself as a complete amateur still struggling with the differences between annuals, biennials etc., and have an enthusiastic if hit & miss approach to gardening.  Moved into a bungalow 4 years ago with a decent plot and it is important to me as a wheelchair user to make this space "my oasis".  So many things I want to know, love container gardening in particular and structural plants and grasses rather than bedding type flowers.

WELCOME ULSTERGIRL!!!!!

Please make yourself at home - we love new members with lots of questions (it keeps us on our toes)  CW ;-)

There's tons of information (and the odd laugh) already on here for you to wade through. You'll also notice a lot of leg pulling and banter - please note - don't take offence, it's all good humoured, and I can honestly say no one has ever fallen out on here.

I REALLY look forward to your contributions  ThU5:-)

A warm (and currently rain soaked) welcome from sunny Devon.

It's already been said but spaced repetition is a good thing, they tell me, (aren't ex-teachers so predictable) so, The Shed is home to a diverse bunch of clever, enthusiastic, friendly, generous family.

You will find humour, truth and love here.

Enjoy your stay.
