have you taken up smoking a certain type of pipe what:-{ Tommo  while pruning

Ahhh, grasshopper, if I have to explain it to you you probably wouldn't understand.

Being totally in the moment with a task at hand leads to a better result....some would call it pipe smoke, some would call it zen.

Looking good Dave  get them in before the snow comes ..

Did you build all that yourself, Dave? It looks very appealing. I'm kind of considering doing something similar soon, weather permitting.

Had a wormery for a while ( easy on the onion scraps they don't like them too much) found the liquid watered down a bit is great repelling blackfly also found a lot of baby worms end up in the liquid tray ( a fine mesh kitchen sieve is good for catching them ) good strong food out of them you'll do well

Hi Jason & Scary been away for 4 days, so could not reply till now.
The wormery only indoors whist it cold as it makes them sluggish when it is too cold put em outside when it warms up, and bring em in if frost forecast.

Hoping for some good results will let you know how it goes.   chrs:-)

At Last my friend has made a frame for the plant cover for the nursery bed. It lifts on and off as one unit, should keep birds and predators out   ThU432:-)

A few pics to look at.

Looking very professional there Dave so whatever you plant in the nursery bed is it just   to  plant out in your garden as i thought you had given up with the allotment plot  as the plots all around you were turning into jungles ..

I will put any seedlings in there that are ready to go out but need protection. Then grow spring onions and other crops that do not need a lot of room cut and come lettuce etc.

Not fully decided what to grow yet it will be an experimental year to learn what's best to grow in the conditions I got.  ThU:-)
