Can You Believe This was only in 2012

This makes interesting reading. Especially given the way things are trying to be pushed now.

Me neither, but I would think both are true. First they relax the rules and perhaps that is why we have seen so many new varieties around lately.

Then they tighten the rules to keep us from stopping their profits.  ss:-(   I'm just confused.

If I was a conspiracy theorist I would think that the relaxation WAS to get US to produce new varieties for nothing,  to be scooped up by the big boys as theirs and then we are forced to buy them after producing them in the first place - clever!

Well if I was paranoid I would think that the big guys often cruise sites like these to pick up on what knowledge, and need there is out here so they know where to direct their cash.

Oh too many times have I seen, or been involved in working out a solution to a problem only to find that next season a brand new and exclusive, product has been released that not only fits the bill but fits it in a way that fits the solutions found on the social media.

 ss:-(

We have a friend who now lives abroad, but he took all sorts of government sponsored business courses when he set up his business here, One big thread was to be encouraged to use the social media for research of his product and social networking to explore his market.

Also to check out any applicant for a job on all the social media centres to see how they behaved and what their attitudes were when their guard was down.
Big Brother lives.

My hope is that the information can be put out there for others to use for free, some of the others would rather pay extortionate amounts of money for stuff they can do for themselves with a little time and effort, then that is a shame, but their right.

True gardeners and great recyclists, great improvisers and great explorers and inventors. I am sure there are many ways of tackling growing problems, discovered and used by ordinary growers,  that the big guys would make a mint out of if they knew.
