This just arrived in my Seeds of Diversity news letter, I don't know if this is the right place to share this, I'm sure Gee will move it if it isn't Grin2:-).

Yes you're right Annette, I have moved it! A housekeeper's work is never done!

A very interesting article, I thoroughly enjoyrd it. Thanks Annette.

For those wondering where I've been, I'm staying at No.2 son's home up on the Wirral, looking after the grandson & the dog, the son & his partner are up in Iceland trying to catch glimpses of the Northern Lights - rather them than me with my natural aversion to the cold! I'm also whiling away the days tidying up his plot for the winter  as I said a housekeeper (or allotment keeper)'s work is never done.

I hope to be back home on Monday.

Glad to hear you are having such a great time....house, dog, chicken, pig and farm sitters are invaluable.

Was beginning to wonder where you was hiding ..  Tidying the plot does it feel good to be out there in the fresh air with dirt under your finger nails ?? . Keep up the good work and safe journey home will catch up with you on your return ..

I'll winkle the old git out of his hiding place, H. He's supposed to be coming down here this month for some fresh Devon air. I'll give him a call later today when he's got out of bed....about 11:00am should do it.

I'll have you know I've actually been in bed around the clock on some days since I returned to HQ.

Didn't get any phone calls from you.
